Is every musician needs a CD?
Every musician needs a CD. Think of it as a "talking business card." You will be perceived as a true professional if you can produce a CD of your music and you will feel more confident as well.A CD is great for potential clients to hear the style and quality of your music.
Music CD Replication
CD replication is a process, which primarily involves copying information from a master disk to make multiple copies of it. It is a complicated process but has been made simple with the advent of fully automated replication machines. CD replication can be summarized as a process of reproduction of media such as music CDs, data CDs or video CDs by manufacturing them. The process makes use of expensive equipment, which is used mainly for the production of large quantities of music CDs.
Why Indian music is more popular?
The music of India is one of the oldest unbroken musical traditions in the world. It is said that the origins of this system go back to the Vedas (ancient scripts of the Hindus). Many different legends have grown up concerning the origins and development of Indian classical music. Such legends go a long way in showing the importance that music has in defining Indian culture.
Do you think downloading music illegally is not a big deal?
It was a big deal just a few years ago. Napster was offering a free file sharing service to members and it allowed people to download music without paying for it. When the music industry found out how many people were downloading music this way and not buying their CDs in the store or online they filed suit against Napster.if you are downloading music to burn onto CDs you usually have to pay per song or per album.
Nothing beats it
A DJ can mix songs to provide you the ultimate music entertainment. What needs to be done though is that you should give the DJ a list of your preferred song long before the event. That gives the DJ time to arrange the CDs for you. The variety of music becomes enhanced when a DJ plays CDs. A sudden request from the guest also may be honored by the DJ and the song may be played. Most DJs come prepared with a number of CDs to meet immediate requests.
Indian classical music
Indian classical music has one of the most complex and complete musical systems ever developed. Like Western classical music, it divides the octave into 12 semitones of which the 7 basic notes are Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Dha Ni Sa, in order, replacing Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Si Do. However, it uses the just intonation tuning (unlike Western classical music which uses the equal temperament tuning system).
Organizing Music
The days of CD racks are going away. They are being replaced by iPods and other mp3 players that can put entire music libraries in the palm of your hand. Take it wherever you like, listen to your library in the car, at the gym, at home and at work. And by jumping into the world of digital music files you free up all that space now designated for CDs. The process is simple. There are many software packages and devices available to make the change a painless one. I recommend iTunes software (it's free) and an iPod (not so free, but worth it).
